More Gingold wisdom

If you are a single woman living alone, take a leaf from Hermione's book and have the underside of your toilet seat engraved thus:

"Thank heavens there is a man in the house."

Some 1960's swanky instrumentals to get you in the mood...

A couple of great finds, which Malice is really enjoying at the moment:

Xavier Cugat's cocktails. A must for any dinner party atmosphere.

PS: LOVE the album cover...

And the Tijuana Brass. Okay, Malice admits that she can't listen to this group without visualising the erudite David Niven running around like a maniac and wearing a kilt, a la 'Casino Royale'.

A random little gem, if ever I saw one...

A sweet little duet called "Sunset Tree" from a little-known musical calling 'Darling of the Day', which had a very limited run on Broadway in 1968 (only 30 performances to be exact).

What's so unusual is the singers: Vincent Price (who doesn't do a bad job), and the oh so fabulous Patricia Routledge (a personal favourite of Malice in Wonderland's, for her close-to-genius portrayals of frustrated bitchy women, Kitty and Hyacinth Bucket). Who knew she could also trill along in a high, operatic style??

Enjoy!

A glimpse of calming divinity

Malice has been revelling in the woundrously languid ballads of the dear Shirley Horn, whose music still resonates with class.

Enjoy Ms Horn at her very, very best:

Isn't this just the BEST album cover ever?

Gingold Wisdom...

"I believe in trying everything once - except country dancing and incest."

Channelling my Chanel

A little bit of old skool glitzy glamour for a Sunday morning...

Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered

Malice loves this nifty little tribute to her favourite witch, Endora - played wonderfully well by the late, great Agnes Moorehead.
